About C3 CARES
C3 CARES is about caring for our community. You can walk together with us to minister the love of Christ to the people of Hedland & The Pilbara. C3 CARES takes you past our church walls and into your community through a variety of initiatives to meet their very real needs.
We aim to bring help, healing, restore dignity and empower lives. We believe we have freely received and therefore we choose to freely give. We are blessed to be a blessing. Our concern is the needs of others as much as our own – let’s lift up our eyes and think Beyond.
Our Initatives
Meeting Local Needs
The heart behind C3 CARES is that C3 CARES for the community of Hedland.
C3 CARES uses an online platform called Givit which is a system that highlights the needs of people right here in Hedland.
Through this platform, your donations are able to be distributed to local people in need – in your own community.

Donate Local Program
By having lunch at the C3 Cafe after our Sunday service, you’re donating to our C3 CARES Donate Local program.
Upon purchasing a meal at the cafe, you’ll be given a token which you can place into one of three jars – which represent three different local organisations in your community.
Every month, our C3 CARES team count up which organisation has gained the most tokens, and we make a donation towards the great work they are doing in your community.
Local Events
A big part of what we do at C3 is coorindating local events to practically show the love of Jesus to our community.
This includes a range of community events that are open to the whole community including our famous annual Hedland Carols production – which alone sees approximetly 2500 people attend each year.
The event involves performances from local musicians & dancers as well as food vans and rides for the kids.
